Tabatay Theatrical Props is a Columbus, Ohio-based prop rental company dedicated to serving the theatrical community across Ohio. We specialize in sourcing, researching, and curating the props and set dressings that bring productions to life — from furniture and artwork to the smallest hand prop an actor carries onstage.
We define props broadly: anything movable in a production, including furniture, plants, wall art, curtains, carpeting, and actor-handled items. Our inventory contains thousands of items available for rent, and we're constantly growing our collection through purchases and donations.
Rental fees are a one-time charge for the full duration of your rental from drop-off to pick-up. We offer free delivery to venues in Franklin County and surrounding counties, with the exception of a few oversized items marked as pick-up only. Delivery beyond our standard area is available at a mileage-based rate.
Since our founding, Tabatay has proudly served professional theatres, community theatres, high school productions, and special events throughout Ohio. Past clients include Columbus Civic Theater, CATCO, Warehouse Theatre, Red Herring Theatre, Gallery Players, Performance Arts Columbus Ensemble, Hilliard Arts Council, Olentangy Orange High School, Bishop Hartley High School, New Albany Middle School, and many more.
Productions we've helped dress include Titanic, Little Shop of Horrors, Mary Poppins, Newsies, 1776, The Crucible, Funny Girl, Macbeth, Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, August: Osage County, I Do I Do, and dozens more.
